About the Movie

STONE CRAZY is a movie based on the wind-based pyramid-building theories of Dr. Maureen Clemmons, a change management consultant from Winnetka, California, who has demonstrated how one of the world’s most mysterious civilizations could have utilized one of the Earth’s most abundant energy resources - wind - to build their immortal monuments.

STONE CRAZY Dr. Maureen Clemmons - President, Transformations. Out standing in her field. For the past decade, she has been refining her theories in the field, erecting up to 16-ton obelisks with nothing but scaffolds, kites, pulleys and log rollers – and minimum manpower.

Utilizing the expertise of NASA, JPL, CalTech, as well as companies such as Coors and Kiteship, Maureen has accrued a powerful sponsorship structure. See an incredible demonstration of the wind theory in action here.

Maureen is the Consultant and co-writer on the movie STONE CRAZY - a modern comedy about ancient Egypt.

STONE CRAZY is a tale of HOW the ancient Egyptians might have discovered wind power to move monoliths – through necessity, competing for the contract, and sheer dumb luck.

Emphasis on dumb.

A combination of Monty Python's Life of Brian and It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, STONE CRAZY Hatshep the High Priest of the CanalersSTONE CRAZY takes every stone-moving theory posited over the past 2,000 years and runs it up the ramp; from harmonic sound waves, to the million-man slave method, to mindpower, to extra-terrestrial aliens… these factions thrown together in a megalithic stone-moving competition that finds them all sabotaging each other, while desperately trying to make their own half-baked methods move mountains...

The largest pyramid on the Giza Plateau is Khufu’s Great Pyramid (481 ft high); the second largest is his son, Khafre’s (471 ft high – the one with the limestone casing still encrusting the top diamond shape); then there is Menkaure’s, the noticeably smaller pyramid (213 ft high) to the southwest of Khufu and Khafre.

We’ve taken some dramatic liberties with STONE CRAZY (the principles are 4,500 years long dead – who’s gonna sue?): In our movie, Pharaoh Khufu is a milk-bathing simpleton, with a penchant for slavegirls and rubber duckies, Imhotep is his Grand Vizier and Chief Architect (treasonous and egomaniacal, coveting Khufu's throne), and Khafre here is unrelated to Khufu, rather a beer salesman in the palace pub, he is Our Hero who unwittingly discovers that the answers to the stone-moving competition are blowin’ in the wind…
